Process of consciousness
In Dahn Yoga, we use the body as a tool to reawaken ourselves to sensations. Becoming aware of our physical sensations is a necessary prerequisite to mindfulness because such sensations are linked to feelings and thoughts, and they are the foundations of the very process of consciousness.
Being mindful of sensations in our body does not mean standing apart and observing like a distant witness. Rather, we directly experience what is happening in our bodies, and we carefully feel the energy that flows through them when we focus on them.
