Awakening to our bodies allow us to experience the physical world fully, with all its anxieties, confusions, and pleasures, rather than living in a world of mere thoughts. Watching your body means asking yourself, “How does it actually feel to be anxious, angry, or happy? What is the texture of the experience?”

Meditation teaches us to stay with the bodily reality of the present moment, which offers us the possibility of seeing our life with a sense of clarity that we could never experience through thinking alone.
