Isn’t it hard enough to heal oneself? But healing society?
Although I always wanted to help others, it became harder to focus on others when I went through my deep healing. I realized that healing myself was my priority. Helping others was an empty gesture while I was not able to deal with my own issues. I needed to walk my talk, so I decided to heal myself first. I went to Dahn Healer School (now Dahn Healing System) after comtemplating for sometime. Being ruthlessly honest with myself and others wasn’t easy, yet I tried my 100%. So much laughter and cry, dancing, being myself, surrendering to All There Is, and being no-self. The outcome was a lighter, freer, more peaceful being. Finally I found out that healing myself is no different from healing the society. I am a part of the society, the Earth. We are one in fact. Separation was my illusion. Since I came back from the Dahn Healer School,where Ilchi Lee’s vision for Healing Society Movement is being actualized, I don’t look back. It was one of the best choices I have ever made for myself. Awakening the healer within me. Empowering myself and others.

How many times did you smile at people today? In this hectic world, especially in NY, we often skip a genuine greeting “How are you?” when we meet people. Many people in public places avoid eye contacts to each other. It is sad to create walls around us. Aren’t we all from the same Source and the Earth? Regardless of people’s responses, I try to smile at all time and at anyone I encounter. For me smiling is a choice. I put one of Ilchi Lee’s 12 Maxims for Authentic Living practice into an action: “Smile and be at peace for no reason.”

There are so many over the counter medicines–isles of drugs in pharmacies, grocery stores, and even small convenient stores. Pharmaceutical companies keep making new medicines and almost program us to take them when we have certain symptoms. A flu season is coming, and we tend to take more cold medicines although there is no cure for viral illness flu. Ilchi Lee teaches us in his book Human Technology how we can enhance our natural healing capacity through body mind training and by activating an energy system in our bodies. Personally I have experienced so many benefits by applying his wisdom based on thousands of years of Eastern medicine and training methods. I highly recommend that every household should have a copy of Human Technology instead of bunch of unnecessary medicines.

Ilchi Lee touched on something when he said to exhale as you hold a posture and really let everything go. Just by doing this, I have imporoved my flexibility. Instead of grimacing whenever I felt some discomfort, I tried to relax my body into a stretch, and then I began to breathe. as I breathed, I focused on releasing all of my tension out through the point which I felt the most. through this, I really was able to relax.
Now, I’m quite literally 100xs more flexible than when I began to exercise. Before, when I bent forward at the waist, I couldn’t touch my knees. Now, I can wrap my fingers around my feet! Its a wonderful method!
